SEMLEP Resilience and Innovation

SEMLEP Resilience and Innovation

SEMLEP has introduced a capital investment grant scheme aimed at assisting SMEs. This initiative, known as the Resilience and Innovation Grant, is tailored to support businesses located within the SEMLEP area that are actively seeking to invest in their operations, ultimately driving growth. The primary objectives encompass enhancing business performance, fortifying resilience against the challenges posed by the cost of living, fostering heightened levels of innovation, and bolstering sustainability efforts as part of the broader transition towards a net-zero economy.

The total allocation for the Resilience and Innovation Grant fund amounts to £1.9 million. Under this program, eligible businesses can potentially secure a grant equivalent to 50% of their eligible capital investment, with the grant ranging from £5,000 to a maximum of £50,000. This framework provides substantial financial support for SMEs to propel their growth trajectories.

Once the Expression of Interest form is complete, you will be contacted by a SEMLEP Growth Hub business adviser within five working days. If eligible, the business adviser will advise you to proceed to full application.

The closing date for the first round of grants closes at 5pm, 15th September 2023.

Grants will be allocated on a rolling series, with subsequent rounds reopening for new applications every two months until the funding is fully allocated.
